The Opportunity
The Information Security Analyst plays a key role in supporting and strengthening Spacesaver's cybersecurity posture, with a strong focus on CMMC and NIST 800‑171 compliance. Reporting to the Senior Network Engineer, this position serves as a technical and compliance‑focused subject matter expert, partnering closely with IT and cross‑functional stakeholders to reduce risk and support business and regulatory objectives.

What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, ongoing management, and continuous improvement of CMMC compliance initiatives
- Conduct security gap assessments and risk analyses, documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies
- Help protect systems and information assets through administrative, technical, and procedural controls
- Develop, maintain, and document security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST 800‑171
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance findings
- Maintain audit‑ready documentation and evidence for assessments and ongoing compliance efforts
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver security awareness and compliance training
- Partner with IT and business teams to implement, validate, and monitor security controls
- Coordinate and support internal and external cybersecurity audits
- Stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats, tools, and regulatory standards
- Support vendor risk assessments and third‑party security reviews
- Assist with user requests related to security configuration and enhancements
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 12 years of professional experience in information security
- Strong working knowledge of NIST 800‑171 or similar frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation abilities
- Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred
- Familiarity with CMMC requirements and assessment processes
- Experience with DFARS, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks
- Experience supporting third‑party audits or readiness reviews
- Knowledge of SIEM tools, network monitoring, and Microsoft security technologies (Active Directory, Azure/Entra, M365)
- Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISM, CISSP, or SSCP
