Condortech Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Security Installation Technician to join our growing electronic security team. If you take pride in clean installations, enjoy working with a variety of systems and can take ownership of your work, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that values your expertise.

Our technicians install commercial access control, video surveillance, intercom, intrusion detection, electrified door hardware and related low-voltage systems. You'll work from drawings and field instructions to install equipment, connect networked devices and test completed systems, with a focus on workmanship, safety and clear jobsite communication.

Compensation: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience, technical ability and certifications.

What You'll Do

· Install and mount security cameras, intercoms, intrusion devices, access-control panels and related equipment

· Install and wire readers, controllers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices and door contacts

· Pull, support, terminate, label and test low-voltage cabling; keep wiring and equipment installations neat and organized

· Read plans, wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions to confirm device locations, cable routes and connections

· Set up IP-connected devices using assigned network settings, verify PoE and switch-port connectivity, and coordinate network issues with the project team or customer IT

· Check power, wiring and device operation; troubleshoot installation issues and support system testing and commissioning

· Document cable labels, device locations, test results and field changes; complete punch-list items before turnover

· Coordinate with project managers, other trades and customers; flag missing materials or site issues early and maintain a safe, orderly work area

What We're Looking For

· Hands-on experience installing commercial electronic security or related low-voltage systems, with the ability to complete assigned installation work independently

· Basic networking experience, including IP addresses, subnet masks, default gateways, DHCP versus static addressing, PoE and basic connectivity checks

· Ability to read drawings, make sound cable terminations, check your work and recognize when an issue needs escalation

· Dependability, attention to detail and clear communication with customers and the installation team

· Your own serviceable set of standard installation hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, strippers, crimpers, a tape measure and a drill/driver

· Demonstrated safe, proficient use of those tools, plus the ability to use a multimeter and cable tester to verify wiring, power and connections

Experience That Sets You Apart

Experience or certifications with platforms such as Brivo, Eagle Eye, Avigilon, AMAG, Gallagher, Hanwha, RS2 Mercury, Openpath/Alta, Milestone, Bosch or similar commercial security platforms is a plus.

Networking certifications, manufacturer certifications, locksmith/door hardware experience and experience integrating access control with video, intercom and intrusion systems are also highly valued.

We're especially interested in technicians who enjoy learning new platforms, adapting to different customer environments and sharing knowledge with the team.
