About iNET Security
Theft, interrupted.
iNET Security protects commercial sites with Remote Guarding. We design and install our own iSentry camera systems, and our own state-licensed operators in San Antonio watch them. When something happens, we act: voice talk-down, police dispatch when it's warranted, and a full record of every event.
Why this role matters
Every customer relationship starts with a design and a quote. If the design is wrong, the site isn't protected. If the quote is wrong, we lose the deal or lose money on it.
You'll turn a site walk into a camera plan and a price that is right the first time. This is a core seat on our growing sales team, and you'll learn the whole business from it: product, install, monitoring and the customer.
What you'll do
Site surveys and design
- Walk customer sites in person, and review them with satellite maps and site plans, to map perimeters, gates, entry points, blind spots, power and connectivity
- Design camera layouts using our iSentry line (Nano, Mini, Micro, Mobile, Helios and Invictus), choosing the right unit, placement and field of view for each zone
- Design door access control and plan takeovers of a customer's existing cameras onto our monitoring
- Confirm power (AC or solar), cellular coverage and network options for each site
- Produce clear drawings and coverage maps that both the customer and our install crew can follow
Estimating and quoting
- Build the bill of materials, labor hours and monitoring scope for every quote
- Price installs and monitoring using our pricing tools and rules
- Put every estimate through a second-person internal review before it goes out
- Send estimates to customers and walk them through the design and scope
- Revise quotes fast when scope changes, and track why we win or lose
Handoff and install support
- Hand won jobs to operations with a clean package: drawing, parts list, install notes and site contacts
- Help plan install trips, grouping out-of-area jobs by region
- Visit sites on install day when needed to confirm the design works in the real world
Systems and process
- Keep estimates, drawings and customer records current in our software and job systems
- Help build our design templates, standard parts lists and estimating playbook
- Use AI and software tools to make surveys, drawings and quotes faster and more accurate
What success looks like
- First 30 days: learn the iSentry products and our monitoring service, shadow site surveys, and build your first quotes with a reviewer
- By 60 days: run standard site surveys on your own and turn around standard quotes within 36 hours
- By 90 days: own design-to-quote for small and mid-size sites, with quotes that pass review with few changes
- By 6 months: take on multi-site and larger projects with support, and help improve our templates and pricing tools
What you'll bring
- 3 to 5 years in security, low-voltage, electrical, IT or networking, construction estimating, or a related field. A relevant degree or certificate plus a strong drive to learn also works.
- A working understanding of cameras, networking (IP, PoE, cellular) and power
- Comfort reading site plans and satellite maps, plus basic drawing skills
- Strong with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Clear writing and speaking; you can explain a design to a customer in plain terms
- Organized and detail-minded; you can keep several quotes moving without dropping one
- Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and obtain Texas DPS Private Security registration (we'll help)
- Able to work outdoors in Texas weather, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
