Kastle Systems is looking for aFull StackSoftware Engineerto join our team in Falls Church, VA to help usgrow and support our internal tools.
As a Kastle SystemsSoftwareengineer, you will have an opportunity to contribute to our award winning* highly available and distributed platform that is deployed on platforms ranging from microcontrollers, headless Linux IoT controllers, datacenters, and the AWS and Azure clouds. Our products work to keep people safe while adding convenience and providing excellent customer service to the building managers and enterprise customers that use our Security-As-A-Service platform.

Responsibilities- Support and expand Kastle’s internal applications, generally written in PHP, C#, and JavaScript
- Provide internal integration support for Kastle’s APIs.
- Support the relational database (SQL Server) to which the systemsarebacked, through procedure reviews and performance analysis
- Problem-solve issues and help to develop and improve systems to meet business needs
- Work with QA to maintain adequate test coverage of Kastle’s applications and business rules
- May be required to take part in On-Call rotations
QualificationsRequired:
- BachelorsDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degree that provides a solid foundation in computer programming.
- 3-5years experiencein application developmentusingC#
- 3-5years experiencein front end developmentusing HTML+CSS andJavascript, with popular librariesand frameworkssuch asjQuery/Bootstrap, Angular/React, Vue.js, or others
- 3-5years experienceworking with relational databases (SQL) – preferably SQL Server, including but not limited to: Performance troubleshooting, Stored Procedure design/review, data analysis
- 1-2years experiencewith CI/CDworkflow in acloud container orchestration environment (Kubernetes).
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, agile team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal US English communication skills
Preferred :
- 1-2years experienceincorporating Ai prompting into the development workflow to maximizedevelopment velocity.
- Experienceprogramming inPythonand PHP
